Harvest Brighton & Hove is running a Local food week in parallel with the Brighton Food Festival in September.

The group, which provides encouragement and resources for people growing their own food, has a number of events lined up, including:

Screening of Food Inc
Sallis Benney Theatre, 7pm, Wednesdays 22 September
Described as ‘An Incovenient Truth’ about food, this documentary exposes the effects America’s industrialised food system has on the environment, health, the economy and worker’s rights.
