Artists in Space
Saturday 29th October 2011, 6pm to 2am, south side of The Open Market, Marshalls Row, Brighton, BN1 4JS - off The Level (east end) and London Road (west end). White Night

Celebrate CompARTment’s utopian mission to give over unused spaces to creative use with this jamboree of interactive installations, collaborative electro soundscapes and music, cinema, performance, art and food delights. A feast of treats for all your senses.

Interactive installations/ live art and sculpture from Nic Blair, Ali Jeffrey, Laura Harrold, Susanna Gibson, Daryl Bennett, ‘Formed’, Susan Keshet and Keith Nichols.

Music Audio Visuals and Performance including: ‘Some Cartographers’, Stuart Vallance, Anneka Warburton, Nicholas Jones, Timothy Robertson, DJ Britney, Josephine Dimbleby and much more.

Plus Arts and Food bazaar with local goodies galore.

The company aims to bring art into spaces not usually occupied in such a way and bring artists closer to the local community – providing new and exciting opportunities for local people and artists.

CompARTment aim to support pop-up and experimental or pilot projects, and to draw positive attention to the site’s in which they work, promoting and supporting the local business and community.
