Thanks go to Dom and Chris for organising the event. Technical assistance in setting-up from John, Dominic Furlong, Christopher Furlong-Jones, Sharron Davis, and Kate Rice; Adam Smith and The Roundhill team for running the bar; and the street play organisers and volunteer marshals — Julia Valentine, Emmanuel Valentine, Arran, Camille Darling, Rob Stephenson and Gary Jenkins. And thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Round Hill Society. We are lucky to live in this wonderful community.

The Round Hill Society was actually founded in the autumn of 1999, the first draft of our constitution being on 30th November 1999.

Membership of The Round Hill Society was originally by subscription, but following a vote at the 2002 AGM subscriptions were abolished and all 900+ residents living in the Round Hill conservation area were automatically classed as members of The Round Hill Society.

The first issue of The Round Hill Reporter - the Round Hill Society's printed newsletter - was published in February 2000. From summer 2025, the newsletter has become an "online only" publication.
